Rose Marie "Billie" Corbett, 77, of Owings Mills died Tuesday, May 20, 2008, at home after an extended illness.
Born Oct. 13, 1930, in Newark, N.J., she was the daughter of the late William and Rose Mary Koermaier Gallagher. She was the wife of James William Corbett, who died in 1999.
She was a housewife and a longtime member of Sacred Heart Church. She enjoyed doing volunteer work.
Surviving are children Debbie Corbett of Owings Mills, Jan Corbett of Reynoldsville, Pa., Bob Corbett of Baldwin, Gail Miller of Westminster, and Jim Corbett of Finksburg; siblings Margaret Tischio, Joan Amato, Mary Jo Jubon, and Claire Whelan; 12 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 8:30 a.m. Saturday at Sacred Heart Church, 65 Sacred Heart Lane, Glyndon, with Monsignor Lloyd E. Aiken officiating.
Interment will be in Druid Ridge Cemetery in Pikesville.
Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. today and 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at Eckhardt Funeral Chapel, 11605 Reisterstown Road, Owings Mills.
