Rose Frances (Damizia) Snyder, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on April 14, 2025 just days before her 86th birthday. While her journey with dementia brought challenges, her heart remained filled with love and warmth for her family and those around her.
Rose was known for her warm smile, kind heart, and welcoming hospitality. Despite the difficulties of her illness, she remained a beacon of strength and resiliency, while leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and cherished memories.
Born in Scranton, Pennsylvania to Frank and Josephine (Capolongo) Damizia, both deceased, Rose was also predeceased by her husband of 59 years, Alfred Snyder; her beloved daughter, Julie Ann Karcher; her dearest siblings Joseph (Julie) Damizia, Anna Davis, Marie (Louis) Marangoni, and Helen (Marvin) Fenske; and most recently, her cherished son-in-law, Ronald Fensick.
Rose is survived by her daughters, Lisa Marie Fensick and Pamela Frances Davis; her grandchildren Ronald Fensick II, Scott Thomas-Fensick, Jason (Rachael) Keim, Jenna Elliott-Fensick, Lindsey Snyder, and Taylor Davis; six great-grandchildren; and many other loving family members and friends.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date to be shared by her family.
