Rose Anne Mary Sauter

Rose Anne Mary Sauter, 85, of Hampstead, MD, passed away on Thursday, June 13, 2024, at her home. Born on June 14, 1938, in Baltimore, MD, she was the daughter of the late Thomas Edgar and Sophia Marie Narowanski Eder. She was the beloved wife of Grover S. Sauter, Jr.

Rose Anne worked as a teacher for Baltimore County Public Schools. She was a member of St. Bartholomew Catholic Church. Rose Anne was a 1956 graduate of Catholic High School of Baltimore and a 1960 graduate of Towson State. She enjoyed visiting the North Carroll Public Library and the North Carroll Senior Center. She loved bird watching.

Surviving her in addition to her husband are children: Kathleen Crouse and husband Adam, Alison Schilling, and Grover S. Sauter III, and fiancée Deana Crocetti, grandchildren: Dresden, Bryce, Eve, Garin, and Amelia, and sisters: Lorraine Strow and Marian Zannella and husband Stephen.

The family will receive visitors on Monday, June 17, from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the ECKHARDT FUNERAL CHAPEL, P.A., 3296 Charmil Drive, Manchester, MD 21102. A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, June 18 at 11 am at St. Bartholomew Historic Church, 3071 Park Avenue, Manchester, MD 21102.

Interment is private.
