Rosemary (Litzinger) Bowers, 81, of Rehoboth Beach, DE, formerly Reisterstown, MD, passed away peacefully February 1, 2021, at Beebe Healthcare in Lewes, DE, surrounded by her dear family. Born in Baltimore, MD, she was the daughter of the late Anthony Richard and Nellie Mules Litzinger.


A loving resident of Brandywine Living at Seaside Point, Rehoboth Beach, DE, Rosemary was known for her personal strength, kindness, and fun loving personality.


Rosemary lived most of her life in Reisterstown, MD with her loving husband, the late Joseph (Joe) Bradly Bowers, and three daughters, Darlene, Kim, and Karen.


As members of Sacred Heart Parish, Glyndon, Maryland, Rosemary and Joe were extremely active and led many fundraisers throughout the 1970's for the church's and school's expansions.


Rosemary worked for Registers Florist and Macy's. She also worked for the front office of the Baltimore Colts in the 1980's and had fond memories of she and Joe hosting home cooked dinners and picnics for team members and staff at their home.


In addition to her parents and husband, Rosemary is preceded in death by her daughter, Darlene Bowers Fanshaw, and siblings: Nellie Howell, Lawrence Litzinger, Edward Litzinger, Anna Margaret George, Ethel Mae Bisson, and Betty Ray.


Rosemary is survived by her daughters: Kimberly Coffman of Shrewsbury, Pennsylvania, Karen Falk and her husband Jim of Rehoboth Beach, DE, 5 grandchildren: Jacob and Candace Coffman, Kathlene Fanshaw, Shannon O'Neill and James Falk, Jr.


Rosemary's family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to Brandywine Living at Seaside Point and Beebe Healthcare.


In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Rosemary's honor to Beebe Medical Foundation, 902 Savannah Road, Lewes, DE 19958 or to Sacred Heart Parish, 63 Sacred Heart Lane, Glyndon, Maryland 21071.


Due to the ongoing pandemic, funeral services and interment are private. The service will be streamed beginning Monday, 11:20AM
