Roxy Jean Keeney

Roxy Jean Keeney, 74 of Milton, Delaware passed suddenly on Sunday 17, 2017 at her home. Born June 6, 1943 in Baltimore, MD she was the daughter of the late William H. and Daisey Poole Wardenfelt. She was the wife of Ralph Leroy Keeney.

Roxy was retired from the former Carroll County Bank (BB&T) where she worked as a mortgage under writer for 37 years.

Surviving in addition to her husband are a daughter: Shelley Jean Keeney of Hampstead, MD, brother: Steve Wardenfelt of Wilmington, Del., and grandchildren: Ryan, Megan, Brandy, Brooke and Bracie. She is also survived by 4 great grandchildren.

She was predeceased by a son: Jeffrey Leroy Keeney, great grandson: Chayce McGee, and siblings: Wilamenia Hemphill, William H. Wardenfelt, III, Larry E. and Monty R. Wardenfelt.

The family will receive friends at the ECKHARDT FUNERAL CHAPEL, P.A., 3296 Charmil Dr., Manchester, MD on Thursday Dec. 21, 2017 from 7-9pm with a funeral service to be held on Friday at 10:00am. The Rev. Suzanne Adele Schmidt will officiate. Interment will follow in Trinity U.C.C. Church cemetery in Manchester, MD.
