Royce Dewarren Ruby, Sr.

Royce DeWarren Ruby, Sr., 74, of Manchester, MD, passed away suddenly on December 14, 2018, at his home. Born on March 27, 1944, in Cumberland, MD, he was the son of the late DeWarren and Nellie DeMoss Ruby. He was the loving husband of 54 years to Sharon Parrish Ruby.

Royce worked for 21 years as a repairman for Black and Decker.

Surviving him in addition to his wife are children: Royce Ruby, Jr., and Sheila Herbst, and a sister: Joyce Dennis.

He was predeceased by a daughter: Terri Ruby.

The family will receive visitors on Sunday, December 16, from 2-4 pm at the ECKHARDT FUNERAL CHAPEL, P.A., 3296 Charmil Drive, Manchester, MD 21102, where a funeral service will be held on Monday, December 17, at 10 am. Interment to follow in Hampstead Cemetery, Hampstead, MD.
