Russell Charles Bolander, Sr.

Russell Charles Bolander, Sr., 77, of Reisterstown, MD, passed away on Saturday, October 9, 2021, at his home. Born on April 30, 1944 in Baltimore City, MD, he was the son of the late Charles Russell and Anita Marie Neubauer Bolander. He was the beloved husband of Carol Bolander.

Russell was a warehouse manager for Ottenberg's Bakers. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, where he attended the prayer group. He loved teaching and talking about religion. He taught CCD for 2 years. Russell was supporter of the pro-life movement.

Surviving in addition to his wife are sons: Russell Bolander, Jr. and wife Margie of Hampstead, MD, and Bill Bolander and wife Maria Ramos of New Windsor, MD, grandchildren: Russell Bolander, III, Holly Bolander, Dustin Bolander, Natalie Bolander, Mallory Bolander, and adopted-granddaughter: Grace Clark.

The family will receive visitors on Tuesday, October 12, from 2-4 and 6-8 pm, at the ECKHARDT FUNERAL CHAPEL, P.A., 11605 Reisterstown Road, Owings Mills, MD 21117. A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, October 13, at 10 am at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 63 Sacred Heart Lane, Glyndon, MD.

Interment to follow in Evergreen Memorial Gardens, Finksburg, MD.
