Russell W. Fleming

Russell W. Fleming, 67, of Manchester, MD, passed away on Wednesday, June 23, 2021 in Zanesville, OH. Born on March 26, 1954 in Baltimore, MD, he was the son of the late Luther Robert and Estelle B. Buchanan Fleming. He was the beloved husband of Vickie L. Fleming and his first wife, the late Martha Virginia Fleming.

Russell worked as a surveyor. He was a long-time member of the Concourse Owners Group, and was also a member of Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his brothers: Ronald Fleming of Manchester, and Robert Fleming and wife Michele of Upperco, cousin: Thomas Buchanan, stepson: Doug Sponseller and wife Ashley, 3 loving grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews.

Russell was predeceased by a sister-in-law: Brenda Fleming.

The family will receive visitors on Tuesday, June 29 from 5-7 pm at the ECKHARDT FUNERAL CHAPEL, P.A., 3296 Charmil Drive, Manchester, MD 21102, where a prayer service will begin at 7 pm.

Interment is private.
