Ruth Chester Boss

Ruth Chester Boss, 97, of Westminster, MD, passed away on Sunday, November 16, 2025, at her home. Born on November 1, 1928, in Baltimore City, MD, she was the daughter of the late Vincent Chester and Emma Urban Chester. She was the beloved wife of the late John Frederick Boss, who passed away in 2002.

Years ago, Ruth was an office associate for Lanier Engineer.

Surviving her are children: Steven Boss and wife Pam of Pasadena, MD, Kevin Boss and wife Julie of Chester, MD, Conie Gary and husband Timothy of Westminster, MD, grandchildren: Karla, Kristina, Kelsey, Jessica, Jeremy, Brittany, Cody, 19 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild, and sister: Eleanor Foxwell of Randallstown, MD.

Ruth was predeceased by her grandson: Zachary, and sister: Annabell Chester.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, December 2, at 1:45 PM, at Maryland Veterans Cemetery of Crownsville, 1122 Sunrise Beach Rd, Crownsville, MD 21032.
