Ruth Louise Calp

Ruth Louise Calp, 98, of Hanover, PA, passed away on Monday, April 24, 2023, at Homewood at Plum Creek. Born in 1925, in Greenmount, she was the daughter of the late Arthur Albert Garrett and Anna Mary Garrett (Reed).

Before retiring Ruth worked as a Clerk at Black & Decker. She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church where she was part of the Senior Citizens Group. She enjoyed crafts, especially sewing, quilting, and crocheting. She had crocheted over 700 baby blankets for the Linus Project.

She is survived by her daughter: Janice L. Garrett of NC, niece: Linda Hollman and husband Charles of Hampstead, close friends: Christy Mosebrook and family, and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her brother: Arthur Paul Garrett, sister-in-law Geraldine Garrett, and sister: Leda L. Garrett.

Services will be private.
