Ruth Eileen Eckhardt

Ruth Eileen Eckhardt, 93, of Reisterstown, MD, passed away on Saturday, May 22, 2021 at FutureCare Cherrywood in Reisterstown, MD. Born on August 6, 1927 in Owings Mills, MD, she was the daughter to the late George A. and Catherine A. Uhler Klohr. She was the beloved wife of 64 years to the late Henry Walter Eckhardt, Sr., who passed away in 2012.

Ruth was a housewife, she loved to cook and plant flowers. For many years, she taught Sunday School at Ames Methodist Church.

She is survived by her children: Henry Walter Eckhardt, Jr. and wife Patricia, Brenda Eileen Eckhardt, and Pamela Denise Higgs and husband Bryan, grandchildren: Theresa, Amy, Walter, Christina, Kimberley, great-grandchildren: Jo Ellen, Dylan, Matthew, Samantha, Vyctoria. Ruth is also survived by her sister: Shirley Botts and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services and interment are private.
