Ruth Marie Falcone

Ruth Marie Falcone, 86, of Hagerstown, MD, passed away on Saturday, March 15, 2025, at Angel's Touch Care Assisted Living in West Friendship, MD.  Born on October 16, 1938, in Hagerstown, MD, she was the daughter of the late Victor Ditto and Sallie Turner Ditto.  She was the beloved wife of the late Anthony T. Falcone, who passed away in 2001.

Ruth had a larger-than-life personality and always loved to be the center of attention.  Anything she did, she did it excessively.  She loved going shopping and dancing.  Ruth was especially creative; she had a knack for decorating and creating beautiful silk floral arrangements. She was the Country Club Associates Officer in Reisterstown and was past president of the Red Hatters. Ruth was a talented hairdresser and years ago, she worked as an administrator for the State of Maryland and Montrose Academy.

Surviving her are children: Victoria Boyce and husband Jack, Jodi Collins and husband Michael, Lori Wolod and husband Stephen, Tim Brown and wife Terry, grandchildren: Matthew, Megan, Connor, Casey, Amanda, Alexandra, Ashley, Zachary, and great-grandchildren: Savannah, Olivia, Adalynn, Stella, Layla, Luke, Maverick, Brody, Camden, and Colton.

Ruth was predeceased by her sister: Christine Stenger, and her former husband: Jimmy Brown, who passed away in 2015.

The family will receive visitors on Thursday, March 20, from 10 am – 12 pm, at the ECKHARDT FUNERAL CHAPEL, P.A., 11605 Reisterstown Road, Owings Mills, MD, where a funeral service will begin at 12 pm.

A private interment will take place in Garrison Forest Veterans Cemetery, Owings Mills, MD, at a later date.
