Ruth E. Rutter Brewer Wilhelm of Holland, PA passed away peacefully on Tuesday, Nov. 15, at St. Mary Medical Center in Langhorne PA. She was 86.
Born in Baltimore, she was the daughter of the late John and Elsie Butler Rutter.
Ruth was widow of Paul Harold Wilhelm of Westminster, who passed in 1989. Her first husband, Donald E. Brewer of Towson, passed in 1995.
Mrs. Wilhelm was a proud veteran of the Navy who served her country during World War II. Ruth was also an avid golfer, Orioles fan, and lover of good music. She enjoyed spending quality times with her family and friends and most especially, her grandchildren. She will be sorely missed by everyone who has come to know and love her.
Ruth is survived by her two loving children and their spouses; Keith "Kyf" Brewer and Kay of Holland, PA. and Robin Karpinski and Rich of Mt. Vernon, OH, and her 4 grandchildren Dorian, Scotlyn, CoCo, and Claire. She was one of seven Rutter children, and is also survived by her sister Margaret Robinson, and her 2 brothers Donald and Charles Rutter.
Because Ruth had recently relocated to Pennsylvania to be near her son, but spent most of her life in Baltimore County, a memorial service is planned at the Eckhardt Funeral Chapel P.A. 11605 Reisterstown Rd. Owings Mills on Sunday, January 29, 2012 at 4:00 PM. Please mark your calendars. The family will receive friends from 2- 4 PM.
