Ruth Marie Spencer née Bruns passed away on December 31, 2017. She was the wife of the late Walter Frederick Spencer, Sr. She is survived by children: Joyce Ann Petrunyak, Susan Lynn Cornell, and John Scott Spencer, 7 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, and siblings: Gilbert and William Bruns. She was predeceased by her son: Walter Frederick Spencer, Jr., and siblings: Herman, Bernard, Raymond, and Katherine.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, January 4, from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the ECKHARDT FUNERAL CHAPEL, P.A., 11605 Reisterstown Road, Owings Mills, MD 21117, where a funeral service will be held on Friday, January 5, at 10 am. Interment to follow in Evergreen Memorial Gardens, Finksburg, MD.
