Sandra Lynn Eddy, 61, of Westminster died Friday, August 21, 2009 at the Dove House. Born on October 8, 1947 in Baltimore, she was the daughter of the late Sewell Davis Sheckels and Marion Claire Spicer Sheckels. She was the wife of the late Marvin Ellis Eddy, who died in 2008.
Mrs. Eddy was Comptroller for Groco, Inc.
Surviving her are brothers and sister in law Kevin and Shannon Sheckels of Westminster and Craig Sheckels, Sr. of Owings Mills; also survived by nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday at Eckhardt Funeral Chapel, P.A., 3296 Charmil Drive, Manchester where a funeral service will be held at 8:00 p.m.
Interment will be in Garrison Forest Veterans Cemetery, 10:45 a.m. Wednesday.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be offered to Carroll Hospice, Dove House, 292 Stoner Avenue, Westminster, Maryland 21157 or The Gettysburg Center, 867 York Road, Gettysburg, PA 17325.
