Sandra "Sandy" L. Bailey

Sandra “Sandy” L. Bailey, 80, of Manchester, MD, passed away on Monday, August 3, 2026, at Sinai Hospital in Baltimore City, MD. Born on November 2, 1945, she was the daughter of the late Raymond L. and Lola L. Fridinger. She was the wife of Roger P. Bailey.

Sandy worked as a secretary for Roadway Express for 40 years.

Surviving her in addition to her husband are children: Christine Richards and wife Stephanie Tungpalan of Warrensburg, NY, and Wesley Richards of Manchester, MD, stepdaughters: Susan Wantz, Deborah Merriman and husband Richard, Karen Cochran and husband Alan, sister-in-law: Sharon Bailey and husband Jay Gede.

The family will receive visitors on Wednesday, August 5, from 5-7 pm, at the ECKHARDT FUNERAL CHAPEL, P.A., 3296 Charmil Drive, Manchester, MD.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, August 6, at 10:30 am, in John Luther Miller Cemetery, Westminster, MD.
