Sandra Jean Smallwood age 62 of Upperco, MD died Thursday March 20, 2014 at the Seasons Hospice in Randallstown, MD.
Born May 19, 1951 in Howard County, MD. she was the daughter of the late Edward Leo and Betty Jane Cook Hinegardner. She was the wife of the late John "Jack" Smallwood who died in 2001.
She was a manager for Highs Dairy Stores. She also worked at the Owings Mills VFW and was a member of the ladies auxiliary. She enjoyed being with family and friends.
Surviving are siblings: Bessie and Bryan Hinegardner both of Ellicott City, MD and Wayne Hinegardner of Tennessee and god daughters: Brie Childers-Holt of Owings Mills, MD and Kristy Coghill of Hampstead, MD.
She was predeceased by brothers: Eddie and Robert Hinegardner.
The family will receive friends on Monday from 3-5 and 7-9pm. at the Eckhardt Funeral Chapel P.A. 11605 Reisterstown Rd. Owings Mills, MD with a funeral service beginning at 8:00pm.
Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the funeral home to help with final expenses.
