Born on May 27, 1961, in Lockhart, Texas, she was the daughter of the late Jessie Lex and Christine Burton Stephens. She was the wife of the late John Jennings Brooks who passed away in 2016.
She is survived by 2 brothers-in-law, 2 sisters-in-law, and nieces and nephews.
Funeral services and interment are private.
