Sarah Elizabeth Myers

Sarah Elizabeth Myers, 73, of Reisterstown, MD, passed away on Thursday, June 10, 2021, at Almost Home in Taneytown, MD. Born on March 8, 1948, in Baltimore, MD, she was the daughter of the late Walter L. Pohlhaus and Margaretta P. Monahan Smith Pohlhaus. She was the beloved wife of the late Allen "Buddy" Lee Myers, Jr., who passed away in 2007.

Years ago, Sarah worked as a beautician. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Sarah was a lover of snacks.

Surviving her are children: Allen Patrick Myers and wife Nancy of Virginia, Aaron Paul Myers and partner Claudia Gomez of California, and Allison Paige Heaberlin and husband Jonathan of Eldersburg, MD, a grandson: James Arthur "Artie" Heaberlin, and siblings: Owen Pohlhaus, Walter Pohlhaus, Joseph Pohlhaus, and Gretchen Pohlhaus. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by siblings: Bernard Pohlhaus and Georgeanna Smith Doffmeyer.

The family will receive visitors on Tuesday, June 15, from 3-5 and 7-9 pm at the ECKHARDT FUNERAL CHAPEL, P.A., 11605 Reisterstown Road, Owings Mills, MD 21117, where a Funeral Liturgy will be held on Wednesday, June 16, at 10 am.

Interment is private.
