Scott Andrew Smith

Scott Andrew Smith, 55, of Finksburg, passed away on Tuesday, January 17, 2023, at his home. Born on July 23, 1967, in Baltimore, he was the son of Dr. Errol G. Smith of Westminster, and the late Joy Fisher Smith.

Scott was a Project Superintendent for Herman Stewart Construction. He was an avid outdoorsman, enjoyed hunting, fishing, riding motorcycles with friends, horseback riding and playing with his dog Bodie. He was a certified AKC Field Trial / Hunting Test Judge and enjoyed judging events and showing his dogs. His son Hunter was who he loved most and was Scott's pride and joy.

In addition to his father, he is survived by his son: Hunter Smith, brother: Eric Smith and wife Tina, sister: Jennifer Smith Stitely and husband Tim, niece and nephews: Nick Kelly, Nick Stitely, Hannah Stitely, William Gambino, and Gregg Gambino, and his best friend: R. Kaese Dillman.

The family will receive visitors on Monday, January 23, 2023, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m., and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the ECKHARDT FUNERAL CHAPEL, P.A., 3296 Charmil Drive, Manchester, MD. 21102.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 24, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home.

Interment will be private.
