Shelva Jeanne Robbins, 75, of Westminster, MD, died Friday, January 31, 2025, at Dove House, Westminster, MD, with her husband by her side.
Born November 29, 1949, in Hampstead, MD, she was the daughter of Helen and Ralph Yingling. She was the wife of David G. Robbins for 43 years.
She is predeceased by her brothers: Ralph Yingling, Paul Yingling, Larry "Lack" Yingling and sister: Ruth Hare. She is survived by her nieces and nephews: Denise Miller, David Hare, Kim Hare, Hope Cullison, Jason Hare, Duane "Duke" Yingling, Karen Robbins, John "J" Robbins, David Robbins, 4 great nieces and nephews, and 4 great grand nieces and nephews.
Shelva worked for 43 years at Springfield State Hospital, despite the fact she was legally blind. She loved traveling, dogs, and was an incredible home cook. She was a mentor to her "kids" and loved to laugh.
She requested no formal funeral service, but instead, a celebration of life party. The party time and place to be determined at a later date.
