Shirley Ellen Naylor Koehne, 78, of Upperco died Monday, February 22, 2010 at Long View Nursing Home in Manchester.
Born on June 21, 1931 in Baltimore, she was the daughter of the late Andrew Guy Naylor and Laura V. Griffith Naylor. She was the wife of the late John Dale Koehne, who died in 2004.
She worked as a secretary for Bendix Field Engineering and was an active member of Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church.
Surviving are her daughters and son in law Linda and Fred Schaefer of Reisterstown and Robin Leidner of Hampstead; her grandchildren Kelly Schaefer Palmiotto, Kristy Schaefer Karanikolas, Brooke Nicole Leidner, and Duffy Brian Leidner; her 3 great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her brothers John "Jack "Naylor, Guy Naylor, and James Naylor, and her sisters Dorothy Zeigman, Helen Wisner, and Virgie Piper.
The family will receive friends 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday at Eckhardt Funeral Chapel, P.A., 3296 Charmil Drive, Manchester with a funeral service 11:00 a.m. Friday at Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church, 15300 Dover Road, Reisterstown.
Interment will be in Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery.
