Sofiia Taranyk

Sofiia Taranyk, 82, of Vishgorod, Ukraine, passed away on Monday, October 28, 2024, at her daughter's home in Manchester, MD.  Born on March 9, 1942, in Mostysche, Kyiv Oblast, Ukraine, she was the daughter of the late Ivankov Andriy and Doludenko Dariia. She was the beloved wife of the late Mykola Taranyk.

Surviving her are children: Anatoliy and wife Tamila, Anna and husband Oleg, grandchildren: Julia, Daniel and wife Anastasia, Maksim, and great-granddaughter: Ava.

The family will receive visitors on Saturday, November 2, from 10:30 am to 11 am at the ECKHARDT FUNERAL CHAPEL, P.A., 3296 Charmil Drive, Manchester, MD, where a funeral service will begin at 11 am.

Interment to follow in New Lutheran Cemetery, Manchester, MD.
