Stephen Christian Piccirilli

Stephen Christian Piccirilli, 49, of Eldersburg, MD, passed away on Friday, February 21, 2020 at his residence. Born on February 25, 1970, in Towson, MD,  he was the son of Arthur "Bud" and Paulyne Piccirilli. He was the beloved husband of Rebecca Schag Piccirilli.

Stephen graduated from Calvert Hall High School and went on to receive a Bachelor's degree from Virginia Tech, Blacksburg, VA. He worked many years as Vice President of Client Relations for Wells Fargo. At Wells Fargo, he chose a path where he could make large scale changes in policy and housing, always fighting for the underdog and equality and fairness. This philosophy extended to life in general. Stephen was an avid enthusiast of all things related to music, from going to concerts and supporting artists. A devoted son, husband, and father, he loved spending time with his family. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

Surviving in addition to his parents and wife are children – his true purpose in life: Luca Piccirilli and Marcello Piccirilli of Eldersburg, MD, he was their biggest cheerleader and advisor. He is also survived by numerous cousins and extended family.

The family will receive visitors at a memorial gathering on Wednesday, February 26, from 3 -5 and 7- 9 pm at the ECKHARDT FUNERAL CHAPEL, P.A., 11605 Reisterstown Road, Owings Mills, MD 21117. A memorial mass will be held on Thursday, February 27, at 11 am at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 915 Liberty Rd, Sykesville, MD 21784.

Interment is private.
