Stephen Randal "Randy" Thompson, 65, of Manchester, MD, passed peacefully Sunday, November 20, 2016 at Carroll Hospice Dove House in Westminster. Born September 13, 1951 in Baltimore, MD, he was the son of Jane Thompson and the late Ronald Thompson. He was the husband of Patricia A. Compton Thompson.
He worked as a manager service specialist for PHH and was a master mechanic for automotive services.
Surviving in addition to his wife are children: Angela Blevins and husband Bruce of Manchester, Andrea Witt and husband Daniel of Baltimore City, grandchildren: Elizabeth Davis and husband Daniel, Amanda Caton and husband Brad, Jessica Puller and husband Rick, Abigiale Witt, 4 great grandchildren, a brother Richard Thompson and his wife Sharon of Virginia, 2 nieces and 1 nephew, 3 great nieces and 1 great nephew.
He was predeceased by a grandchild, Daniel Witt, Jr.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, November 22, 3-5 and 7-9 pm at the ECKHARDT FUNERAL CHAPEL, P.A. 3296 Charmil Drive, Manchester, MD 21102 with a funeral service on Wednesday at 10 am, officiated by Rev. Charles Marshall. Interment in Evergreen Memorial Gardens.
