Sterling A. Alban age 87 of Manchester, MD. died Saturday Dec. 22, 2012 at his home.
Born July 6, 1925 in Greenmount, MD. he was son of the late Earl A. and Ethel Marie Martin Alban. He was the husband of 55 years to Ruth Anna Burns Alban.
He was a lifelong Dairy Farmer and was a member of the Maryland and Virginia Milk Producers and Farm Bureau. He was also a 1944 graduate of Johns Hopkins University with a degree in chemical engineering.
Surviving in addition to his wife are children: Cathy Martin and husband Wesley Sr. of Hampstead, MD.Sterling Scott Alban and wife Joyce Ann of Manchester, MD., and Earl Eugene Alban of Manchester, MD. grandchildren: Wesley Martin Jr., Ashley Martin, Lisa Myers, Bradley Alban and great grandchild: Madison Myers.
He was predeceased by a brother: Martin Luther Alban.
Funeral services will be held at the Eckhardt Funeral Chapel P.A. 3296 Charmil Drive, Manchester, MD. on Wednesday at 12:00 noon with visitation on Wednesday from 11:00 am. until the time of service.
Interment in New Lutheran Cemetery, Manchester, MD.
