Teresa Lynn Tipton, 45, of Butler died Sunday, August 3, 2008 after an extended illness at the Gilchrist Center for Hospice Care in Towson.
Born on May 9, 1963 in Hanover, PA and was the daughter of George Tipton and Charlotte Ruth Bookhultz Tipton of Manchester.
Ms. Tipton was a seamstress for Joseph A. Banks Clothier in Hampstead and was a 1981 graduate of North Carroll High School.
Surviving her in addition to her parents are her long time companion W. Lee Sherman of Butler, her sons Justin A. Tipton of Manchester and Zachary A. Cooper of Hanover, PA; her granddaughter Lilibeth Marie Cooper; her brothers Ricky Tipton and George A. Tipton; her sisters Patti Morfoot and Leanne Miller.
A funeral service will be held 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at Eckhardt Funeral Chapel, P.A., 3296 Charmil Drive, Manchester with Rev. Clarence L. Roark officiating . Interment private.
The family will receive friends Wednesday from 3-5 and 7 until time of funeral service at the funeral chapel.
