Terry Bryan Glendenning, Sr., 70, of Reisterstown died April 7, 2009 at his home.
Born in Baltimore on March 7, 1939, he was the son the late Vernon Leroy Glendenning and Julia Giles Bryan Glendenning. He was the husband of Mary Elizabeth Miller Glendenning, his wife of 49 years.
Mr. Glendenning was with Montgomery Ward for 37 years, retiring as a service technician. He was member of Trinity Lutheran Church of Reisterstown and the Reisterstown Senior Center. He enjoyed roller skating at Sportsman Hall.
Surviving in addition to his wife are his sons and daughters in law Terry, Jr. and Julia Glendenning of Reisterstown, Richard Glendenning of Reisterstown, and Steven and Tammy Glendenning of Finksburg; his niece Jeannette Krout; his grandchildren Kevin, Kerry, Erika, Erin, Kaitlyn, Gavin and Marell; his sister Dorothy Veit of Mississippi.
Mr. Glendenning was predeceased by his brothers Giles and Vernon L. Glendenning.
The family will receive friends 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Saturday at the Eckhardt Funeral Chapel, P.A., 11605 Reisterstown Road, Owings Mills.
A funeral service will be held 10:30 a.m. Monday at Trinity Lutheran Church, 109 Main Street, Reisterstown with the Revs. Timothy Feaser and Andrew Carr officiating.
Interment will be in Evergreen Memorial Gardens in Finksburg.
