Thelma Marie Gardner, 87, of Reisterstown died on December 12, 2007 at Carroll Hospital Center, Westminster. She was born in Union Bridge, MD on December 13, 1919 and was the daughter of the late Roy Alvin Stitely and Ruth Pauline Lescalleet Stitely. She is the wife of James E. Gardner, her husband of 41 years.
She was a sales person for Hecht-May Co.
Surviving in addition to her husband is a son Fiorindo Basso, Jr. of Kansas, a daughter Lisa Basso of Herndon, VA, 6 grandchildren, and 5 great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday at Eckhardt Funeral Chapel, 11605 Reisterstown Road, Owings Mills with Rev. Eugene Funk officiating. Interment will be in Evergreen Memorial Gardens, Finksburg. Friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m.
