Thelma Levina Neighoff, 99 years old of Reisterstown, died Sunday, September 07, 2008 at the Northwest Hospital Center in Randallstown.
Born July 12, 1909 in Arbutus, she was the daughter of the late William and Johanna Scheufele. She was the beloved wife of the late George T. Neighoff who died in 1971. She was predeceased by her son Irvin Neighoff.
Mrs. Neighoff retired from the Rosewood State Hospital after 21 years where she worked in food service. She was one of eleven children. Her 10 siblings all predeceased her.
Surviving are her children: Edna Jones of Glen Burnie, Theresa V. Jarmer of Severn, Kenneth G. Neighoff of New Mexico, Ruth Classon of Rosedale and Larry Neighoff of Reisterstown. Also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, a great great grandchild and other relatives.
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday at 11:00 AM at the Eckhardt Funeral Chapel P.A. 11605 Reisterstown Rd. Owings Mills. Rev. Charles M. Routh officiating. Interment in Lake View Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 3-5 and 7-9 PM at the funeral home.
