Therasa C. Sivert, 86 years old of Sykesville, died Wednesday, November 26, 2008 at the Dove House in Westminster.
Born November 15, 1922 in Bertha, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late Paul G. and Kathren Miscovitch Kantzes. She is the beloved wife of Harold L. Sivert
Mrs. Sivert worked in retail as a sales associate for the former Stewarts Department Store. She also worked for Martin Marietta as a secretary.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children and their spouses, Paul M. and Sandy
Sivert of Annapolis, David J. and Susan Sivert of Sykesville and Kathleen M. and Henry Herr of Reisterstown. She was predeceased by a daughter, Christine L. Sivert.
Grandmother of James D., Emily K. and Julie B. Sivert and Kathren A. and Henry C. Herr. Step Grandmother of James and Sarah Stern.
Sister of the late William Kantzes, Mary Sivert, James Kantzes and Margaret Prestianni.
Also survived by nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday at 12:00 Noon at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 65 Sacred Heart Lane, Glyndon.
Interment in All Saints Cemetery.
The family will receive friends on Sunday from 3-5 and 7-9 PM at the Eckhardt Funeral Chapel P.A. 11605 Reisterstown Rd. Owings Mills.
