Thomas Clark Fitchett

Thomas Clark Fitchett, 79, of Sparks passed away peacefully to go home with the Lord, Saturday, November 14, 2015 at the Stella Maris Hospice in Timonium. Born July 2, 1936 in Baltimore, he was the son of the late Andrew Joseph Fitchett and Katherine Clark Fitchett. He was the husband of Faye Maxine Fitchett, (nee Hoover), his wife of 57 years. Mr. Fitchett was a retired Mechanical Superintendent for Joseph M. Zimmer, Inc. where he had worked in HVAC and plumbing. In his spare time, he enjoyed watching television, NASCAR, and playing with his grandchildren.
In addition to his wife, surviving is his daughter Lisa Mays and husband Adam; his grandchildren Jacob, Christian, and Bethany; his siblings Andrew J. Fitchett and wife Gretchen, Daniel B. Fitchett and wife Linda, and Nancy Gailey and husband Carol. He was predeceased by his son Mark Thomas Fitchett.
The family will receive friends 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m., Monday, November 16, 2015 at the ECKHARDT FUNERAL CHAPEL, P.A., 3296 Charmil Drive, Manchester. Interment will be private Tuesday morning with a family only service at Cedar Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery in Parkton. A memorial service will be held Noon Tuesday, November 17, 2015 at the Hampstead Baptist Church, 328 Hanover Pike, Hampstead with the Rev. Dr. Chris Brammer officiating to celebrate and remember Mr. Fitchett. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Hampstead Baptist Church, P.O. Box 95, Hampstead, MD 21074.
