Thomas Henry Keyes, Jr., of Baltimore, died Tuesday, March 17, 2009 at the Manor Care-York South Nursing Home in PA.
Born April 7, 1913 in Pikesville, he was the son of the late Thomas H. Keyes, Sr. and Eva R.Thomas Cross
He was predeceased by his wife, the late Merlyn Cross Keyes in 2002.
Mr. Keyes served honorably with the U.S.Army during WWII. He was a member and Past Commander of American Legion Parkville Post 183. He worked in sales for a paper distributing company before retiring.
He is survived by his daughter and her husband, Diane and Robert Ginter of Stewartstown, PA. (formally of Eldersburg, grandchildren Jill Fincham, her husband Ed and Ryan Ginter and his wife Angela, as well as great grandchildren Brandon and Haleigh.
He was predeceased by his brother Calvert Cross.
Friends may call at the Eckhardt Funeral Chapel P.A. 11605 Reisterstown Rd. Owings Mills on Friday from 3-5 and 7-9 PM where funeral services will be held on Saturday at 10:00 AM. Rev Dick Harden officiating.
Interment in Druid Ridge Cemetery with military honors.
