Thomas "Bo" Martin Gamber, 86, of Reisterstown & Taneytown, passed away on Friday, December 30, 2022, at FutureCare Cherrywood in Reisterstown. Born on March 31, 1936, in Baltimore, he was the son of the late James Gamber and Mary Stewart Gamber. He was also preceded in death by 1 brother, 4 sisters, and his son Michael Anthony Gamber Sr. who died December of 2015.
He was interested in singing old country music, was an avid hunter and loved to go fishing. He loved his Nascar racing on the weekends and if he wasn't watching Nascar, he was working on his own race car. He loved his Chevelles for racing. You could always find him working on his car, no matter what time of night. He loved his old time cars and going to car shows on his freetime. He was an animal lover, his favorite hunting dog was named "Jack". He had another dog named Arie Adney, and cats. He loved to feed any kind of animal. He had deer come up to the porch and he was able to hand feed them.
He also was a heavy equipment operator for Meekin's, SEH, George Cowman and Bosley Construction. In the winter time, Bosley would send him out to the state to work as Loader Operator at the salt dome in Owings Mills.
He is survived by 1 brother and 2 sisters, also his daughter Connie Gamber of Taneytown, grandson Michael Anthony Gamber Jr of Baltimore, granddaughter Katlynn Hirschowitz of Hanover Pennsylvania and 6 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. He also was survived by his great-niece Lynnette Puckett of Taneytown who was his Guardian.
The family will receive visitors on Friday, January 6, 2023, from 6:00 to 8:00 pm, at the ECKHARDT FUNERAL CHAPEL, P.A., 11605 Reisterstown Road, Owings Mills, MD. 21117.
Interment will be held on Saturday, January 7, 2023, at 10:30 am at Dulaney Valley Memorial Gardens, 200 E. Padonia Road, Timonium, MD. 21093.
