Thomas Daniel Wilson, Sr., 69, of Abbottstown, PA died Friday, December 4, 2009 at his residence.
Born on January 25, 1940 in Baltimore, he was the son of Gladys Ayres Wilson of Abbottstown, PA and the late Daniel Grover Wilson. He was the husband of Evelyn Louise Nusbaum Wilson, his wife of 19 years.
He was an iron worker for Beaman Prefab. He was a member of the Hanover Moose and enjoyed camping.
Surviving in addition to his mother and wife are his children and spouses Deborah and Dean Cook of Sandymount, Terri and Rusty Manning and Tracey and Leigh Manning all of Hampstead, and Tom, Jr. and Kim Wilson of Sparks; his step children and spouses Sandra and John Fridinger and Curtis and Chris Miller all of Westminster, and Walter Miller of Taneytown; his sister Patricia Dersch of Manchester, PA; and also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Monday at Eckhardt Funeral Chapel, P.A., 3296 Charmil Drive, Manchester where a funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday with Sister Debbie McClellan officiating.
Interment will be in Evergreen Memorial Gardens, Finksburg.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be offered to VNA of Hanover and Spring Grove Hospice, 440 North Madison Street, Hanover, PA 17331.
