Thor Raymond Dalebo

Thor Raymond Dalebo, 80, of Manchester, MD, passed away on Wednesday, June 16, 2021, while doing what he loved… playing golf. Born on April 17, 1941, he was the son of the late Torbjorn and Reidun Thorp Dalebo. He was the beloved husband of 58 years to Dorothy Lucille Williams Dalebo.

Thor retired from the Baltimore City Police Department as a patrolman. He was a proud veteran of the United States Air Force. He was a member of the Sons of Norway and the Fraternal Order of Police. He enjoyed watching and playing golf.

Surviving him in addition to his wife are his children: Karen Ann Bosley and husband Daniel of Manchester, MD, grandchildren: Ryan James, Matthew Raymond, and Kelsey Ann, step-grandchildren: Daniel Shawn and Alexandria Lauren, and step-great-granddaughters: Sadie James and Laney Louise. Thor is also survived by sister: Ann Louisa Dalebo Dunlap of Denver, NC, and nieces: Jennifer Bruce and Allison Meritt.

He was predeceased by his son: Thor Odin Dalebo.

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, June 22 at 1:00 pm at St. Abrahams Lutheran Church, 4029 Beckleysville Road, Hampstead, MD 21074.
