Todd Joseph Stallknecht, 40, of Melbourne, Fla. and formerly of Hampstead, died suddenly Wednesday, April 18, 2012 at Holmes Regional Medical Center in Melbourne, Fla.
Born September 8, 1971 in Reisterstown, he was the son of Bernadette Lee Barnes Stallknecht of Hampstead and the late Joseph Frederick Stallknecht.
He was machinist with Phantom Products. He was a 1989 graduate of North Carroll High School. In his spare time, he enjoyed racing Jeeps, scuba diving, NASCAR, and riding Harley Davidson motorcycles.
Surviving in addition to his mother are his sisters and brother-in-law Michele and Walter Sick, Jr., and Nicole and Todd Caple all of Westminster; his brother Eric Stallknecht of Manchester; his niece Caitlin Sick of Westminster; his aunts and uncle Thelma Kline of Baltimore and Helen and Al Stallknecht of Penn.; close friends Damien and Michelle McDermott and family, and Donald Garmer and family.
The family will receive friends 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at Eckhardt Funeral Chapel, 3296 Charmil Drive, Manchester where a funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Saturday.
Interment will be in Parkwood Cemetery, Baltimore.
