Vera Joyce Fair

Vera Joyce Fair age 83 of Hanover, PA formerly of Lineboro, and Lake Wales, FL died Monday, June 22, 2015. Born January 22, 1932 in Reisterstown, she was the daughter of the late Marion and Agatha Warehime Kaltrider. She was the wife of the late Donald Richard Fair, who died in 1999.

For over 63 years, she played the organ for Lazarus Church, Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church, St. George's Episcopal Church, and a church in Lake Wales, FL. She was a member of Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church in Manchester. Years ago, she was the owner of the former Village Inn in Lineboro.

She is survived by her children, Donald Fair, II and wife Sue of Millers, Brenda Pender and husband Bill of Cambridge, and Janice Lankford and husband Jim of Upperco; her grandchildren Emily Fair, Donald Fair, III, Ryan Fair and wife Linda, Sara Pender, Matthew Pender, Jimmy Lankford and wife Terry, and Joe Lankford and wife Mindy; and her great-grandchildren Taylor, Caroline, Audrey, Brianna, Nate, Jacob, Justin, and Jeremy. She was predeceased by her grandson Andrew Fair.

The family will receive friends on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the ECKHARDT FUNERAL CHAPEL P.A., 3296 Charmil Drive, Manchester, where a funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Friday with the Revs. Matthew S. and Norma L. Schenning officiating. Interment will be in the Lineboro Cemetery.
