Virginia "Ginger" Donohue Bitz

Virginia "Ginger" Donohue Bitz, 78, formerly of Owings Mills, MD, passed away on Sunday, June 9, 2024, at Madonna Heritage Assisted Living Home in Jarrettsville, MD.  Born on November 1, 1945, in Baltimore, MD, she was the daughter of the late Walter, Sr. and Caroline Donohue.

Years ago, Ginger worked as an administrative assistant for a printing company.  She was a loyal member of the Living Hope Baptist Church.  She enjoyed gardening, crafting, and sewing.

Surviving her are sons: Andrew Bitz and wife Margaret, Mike Bitz, Bill Bitz and wife Tasha, grandchildren: Jade, Connor, Colin, Kyle, Michael, and Brandon, and great-grandchildren: Emerson and Adalynn.  She is also survived by her brothers: Walter, Jim, and John Donohue, and nieces and nephews.

Ginger was predeceased by her brother: Robert Donohue.

The family will receive visitors on Wednesday, June 12, from 4-7 pm at the ECKHARDT FUNERAL CHAPEL, P.A., 3296 Charmil Drive, Manchester, MD 21102.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 13, at 10 am, at the Living Hope Baptist Church, 14450 Hanover Pike, Reisterstown, MD 21136.

Interment will take place in Lake View Memorial Park, Sykesville, MD.
