Virginia Emberger age 93 of Westminster, MD died Thursday Nov. 27, 2014 at her home.
Born May 26 1921 in Norristown, PA she was the daughter of the late Clifford and Caroline Weber DeHaven. Twice married she was the wife of the late Paul Edward Emberger and the late Michael Bishop.
She was a retired Registered Nurse. She was a former member of Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church and the Senior Singers of Carroll County.
She is survived by her children, Paul Emberger, Jr. and wife Arleen of Florida, Jim Emberger and wife Marcy of New Brunswick, Canada and Susan Edwards and spouse Barbara Matthews of Spring Grove, PA, grandchildren, Rebecca, Paul, Caroline, Jeremy, Sarah, Jonathan, Bonnie, Megan and John. Great grandchildren, Ryan, Madelyn, Nathan, Elisabeth, Sean, Julia, Aidan and Danny and great great grandchild, Acacia. She is also survived by a brother, John DeHaven of the Philippines.
The family will receive friends on Saturday Nov. 29, 2014 from 3-5 and 7-9 pm. at the Eckhardt Funeral Chapel P.A. 3296 Charmil Drive, Manchester, MD and on Sunday Nov. 30, 2014 from 1:00 pm. at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 3184 Church St., Manchester, MD until the time of service at 2:00 pm. the Rev. Chris Litton will be officiating.
Interment will be in the Maryland Veterans Cemetery, Owings Mills, MD at a later date.
