Virginia Mae Fischer, 80 years old of Reisterstown, died Wednesday, December 23, 2009 at her home.
Born December 14, 1929 in Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Roy Thomas Mitchell and Marie Hess Mitchell.
She was the wife of Thomas N. Fischer.
She was a long time member of Trinity Lutheran Church. She had worked at Bendix Corporation for 14 years.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Amy and Rickey Abbott of Reisterstown, her 2 grandchildren Cody and Shelby and her brothers Lee, James, Charlie, Fred and Danny Mitchell and her sister Marie Jones.
She was predeceased by her son Robert T. Fischer and a brother Roy Mitchell
Friends may call on Monday from 3-5 and 7-9 PM at the Eckhardt Funeral Chapel P.A. 11605 Reisterstown Rd. Owings Mills.
Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday at 10:00 AM at the Trinity Lutheran Church, 109 Main Street in Reisterstown, 21136. Interment in Maryland Veterans Cemetery, Owings Mills.
