Virginia "Lee" Hayden-Frantz, 77, of Hanover, PA, passed away on Sunday, February 18, 2018 at the SpiriTrust Lutheran The Village at Shrewsbury in Shrewsbury, PA.
Born on August 13, 1940 in Baltimore, MD, she was the daughter of the late Roland B. "Boots" Wisner and Virgie M. Naylor Wisner. She was the wife of 12 years to the late Ernest W. Frantz.
Lee worked for many years as a CPA and later in life as an adjunct tutor and testing administrator at Carroll Community College. She was also a member of the "Friends of Codorus" and volunteered working at events as much as possible. Lee enjoyed spending time with family and friends and her grandchildren.
Surviving Lee is her son, Darrin Hayden and wife Michele of Glen Rock, PA, grandson Jesse Hayden of Spring Grove, PA, granddaughter Samantha Hayden of Taneytown, MD, grandsons Cole Hayden, Jacob Hayden and Carter Hayden all of Glen Rock, PA, nieces Colleen Pyles and husband David of Hanover, PA, and Michele Magara and husband Michael of East Berlin, PA, and numerous cousins, great nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband John F. Hayden IV, her son John F. Hayden V, her sister Marylou Gist and her nephew James Gist.
The family will receive visitors on Friday, February 23, from 7-9 pm at the ECKHARDT FUNERAL CHAPEL, P.A., 3296 Charmil Drive, Manchester, MD 21102.
Interment is private.
