Virginia Bessie Teets, 72, of Manchester passed away peacefully Monday, October 6, 2014 at her home.
Born April 26, 1942 in Alexandria, VA, she was the daughter of the late William Carl McAvoy and Bessie Elva Aronhalt McAvoy. She was the wife of the late Harvey Allen Teets.
She was retired from the Baltimore City Government.
Surviving are her children Paulette Rogers, Peggy Dobrochowski, Pamela Phillips, and the late Peter Scott Phillips, Jr.; her numerous grandchildren; and her siblings Jimmy McAvoy, Junior McAvoy, Hilda Miller, Roy McAvoy, and the late Harry McAvoy
A graveside service will be held 2:30 p.m. Thursday at Oak Lawn Cemetery, 7225 Eastern Ave, Baltimore with interment to follow.
Funeral arrangements handled by the ECKHARDT FUNERAL CHAPEL, P.A. of Manchester.
