Wallis Leonard Alsruhe, 72 of Hanover, PA. formerly of Manchester, MD. passed suddenly, Wednesday Jan. 25, 2017 at the York Hospital in York, PA. Born April 16, 1944 in Baltimore he was the son of the late Leonard Urban and Mary Lynn Hanson Alsruhe. He was the husband of Elva Jean Fridinger Alsruhe.
Wallis was a retired Master Designer for Black & Decker. He was an Army National Guard veteran, a member of the Hampstead American Legion Post 200 and the Bon Air Country Club. He also enjoyed playing golf.
Surviving in addition to his wife is a stepson; Rodney Leese, Jr. and wife Brenda of Manchester, grandchildren; Hunter and Hailey and siblings; David Alsruhe of Mt. Airy, MD., Joanne Alsruhe of Port Deposit, MD. and Debra Harden of Hanover, PA.
Funeral services and interment will be private.
