Walter Ellwood Carr, Jr.

Walter Ellwood Carr, Jr., 99, of Georgetown, DE, formerly of Reisterstown, MD, passed away on Thursday, October 29, 2020, at his home. Born on January 21, 1921, in Elyria, OH, he was the son of the late Walter Ellwood, Sr. and Viola Makin Carr. He was the beloved husband of the late Doris May Carden Carr.

Years ago, Walter worked for the Baltimore Gas and Electric Company as an electrical engineer. He was a proud veteran of the United States Navy, and he served during World War II.

Surviving him are children: Anne Lentz and Timothy Carr, and grandchild: Taylor Lentz.

He was predeceased by son: William Carr.

Funeral services were held at ECKHARDT FUNERAL CHAPEL, P.A., Owings Mills, Maryland.
