Wanda Lynn Brodbeck, age 56 of Hampstead, MD, died Friday Jan. 15, 2016 at her home after an extended illness.
Born August 12, 1959 in Baltimore County, MD, she was the daughter of the late DeWarren Walther and Janice Smedley Umbarger. She was the wife of 35 years to Dale E. Brodbeck.
She was a housewife and enjoyed her cats and being with her family especially her granddaughter, Natalie.
Surviving in addition to her husband, are a daughter, Jennifer Blizzard and husband Jeff of Manchester, MD., granddaughter, Natalie Blizzard, siblings, Phyllis Coffman and husband Richard of Eldersburg, MD, Donna Hauf of Mt. Airy, MD and Steven Walther of Owings Mills, MD. She was also survived by a stepfather, James Umbarger and wife Gail of Ellicott City, MD.
She was predeceased by a daughter, Rachel Janice Brodbeck.
The family will receive friends on Monday Jan. 18, 2015 from 3-5 and 7-9pm. at the ECKHARDT FUNERAL CHAPEL P.A., 3296 Charmil Drive, Manchester, MD where funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 10:00am.
Interment will be in Greenmount Church Cemetery.
