Warren Wilmer Bimestefer, Sr., 94, of Reisterstown, MD, passed away on Friday, March 21, 2025, at his home, surrounded by his family.  Born on April 25, 1930, in Baltimore, MD, he was the son of the late James Bimestefer and Lilly May Bollinger Bimestefer.  He was the beloved husband of 66 years to Elizabeth L. Bimestefer.

Warren was a veteran of the United States Army. Warren loved his family, and wanted nothing but the best for them. He worked hard as a sales representative for an industrial adhesive manufacturer. He loved sports and especially football. He was quarterback on the undefeated team, the Green Terrors, at WMC. He was a star. He would coach his children and grandchildren and faithfully attend their sporting events. He was also very proud of the letter he received from the Chicago Cardinals, inviting him to try out for their team. He was a jogger and you may have seen him running around Reisterstown, Glyndon, and Worthington Valley.

Warren never tired of talking about his Savior, Jesus Christ, and was a diligent bible student. Always wanting to help other and tell them about Jesus, he taught Sunday School at Montrose to delinquent boys and helped bring the message to the men at Helping Up Mission who were homeless and hurting.

He loved going to Florida and would often try to be there for his birthday in April. The whole family would go and make wonderful memories that are still shared together. He was a huge presence in our lives and will be greatly missed.

Surviving him in addition to his wife are children: Lisa Watkins and husband Greg of Indiana, Warren W. Bimestefer, Jr. of Frederick, MD, Teresa Nicholson and husband John of Westminster, MD, John Bimestefer and wife Karen of Florida, grandchildren: Stephen and wife Rachel, Bryan and wife Katie, Kaitlyn, Victoria "Tori", Lexi, John Andrew and wife Missy, Chris and wife Morgan, Karen and husband Kevin, Sarah and husband Colton, Tim and wife Hannah, Meghan and husband Chris, Lindsey and husband Mike, Brandon, and Lauren, and great-grandchildren: Liam, Makenna, Riley, Carter, Logan, Ollie, Ben, Addie, Haven, Evie, Parker, Kaiden, Avery, Emersyn, and Hudson.

Warren was predeceased by his 7 siblings: William "Bill" Bimestefer, Wilmer Bimestefer, Clara Walters, Vashti Esbrandt, Jane Vander Meer, and Betty Opie.

A private interment will take place in All Saints Cemetery, Reisterstown, MD.
