Warren Neal Haynie

Warren Neal Haynie, 85, of Reisterstown, MD, passed away on Sunday, July 21, 2024, at his home.  Born on August 13, 1938, in Baltimore City, MD, he was the son of the late Charles Delmar Haynie and Mary Chapman Phipps Haynie.  He was the beloved husband of Joan Wilks Haynie.

Neal was previously an English teacher for Baltimore County Public Schools, where he taught at Catonsville, Randallstown, and Loch Raven High Schools, and directed school plays.  He liked gardening and old cars.  Neal was docent of the Baltimore Museum of Industry.

Surviving him in addition to his wife are children: Betty Haynie Dipple and husband Christopher of Ellicott City, MD, Charles Dean Haynie and wife Deborah of Baltimore, MD, and granddaughter: Lily Dipple.  He is also survived by sister: Lura Vogelman and husband Michael of Towson, MD, and two nieces.

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, July 30, at 11 am at Trinity Lutheran Church, 109 Main Street, Reisterstown, MD 21136.

Inurnment to follow in Druid Ridge Cemetery, Pikesville, MD.
