Wayne L. Bowman

Wayne L. Bowman, 64, of Burlington, NC, native of Carroll County, MD, passed away suddenly on Friday, July 28, 2017 at Alamance Regional Medical Center, NC.  Born April 29, 1953, he was the son of Jean Bowman of Westminster, MD and the late Merle L. Bowman. He was the husband of Norma Bowman.

Wayne was a 1972 graduate of North Carroll High School, he was the owner and operator of My Handyman.  He was an avid outdoorsman, bird watcher and history buff.

Surviving in addition to his wife and mother, is his daughter: Lauren Bowman of Snow Camp, NC, his sister: Cindy Barnett and husband Michael of Westminster, MD, and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

He was predeceased by his grandparents: Elmer and Margaret Bowman, and Harvey and Ruth Brenneman.

A memorial service was held on Monday, July 31, 2017 at Rich & Thompson Chapel in Graham, NC.
