Wayne Kenneth Plempel, age 55, of Lancaster, PA, passed away Tuesday, October 28, 2014.
Born January 2, 1959 in Baltimore, he was the son of the late Alfred Clair Plempel, Jr. and Barbara Lee Ellis Plempel LeBrun.
He enjoyed spending time with his sons, playing his guitar, and making stories worth telling.
Surviving are his sons Andrew James and Eric Gordon Plempel; his sisters Linda Cooper and husband William and Cindy Hare and husband Mark; his step-father Lee LeBrun; his uncles Rick Ellis and wife Joyce and Robert Plempel and wife Pat.
He was predeceased by his uncles David Plempel and Chuck Calvert.
The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. Tuesday, November 4, until time of funeral service, Noon at the ECKHARDT FUNERAL CHAPEL, P.A., 3296 Charmil Drive, Manchester with Deacon Charles E. Barnhart, Jr. officiating.
Interment will be in Millers United Methodist Church Cemetery.
